Date: 11 May 2010 As you will be aware, Exoterik ventured to London Town in April to record three brand spanking new tracks. We can exclusively reveal the track titles as; Revive, Hope Is Not Enough and Fire! Finally, after a long and hard search we have managed to find ourselves a new band van. At last! For those of you who watched the Snooty Fox interview online in December you may remember that the van broke down on the way to the gig - but it didn't deter us from storming our way to the gig and rocking our socks off. So all in all, we are constantly adding new dates, we will be relasing three free new tracks and we have a new band van. |
Date: 10 March 2010 Yet more and more Butterfly In Your Hand album reviews are apprearing in magazines and E-zines. The latest comes from online E-Zine's Femme Metal and Chop Music. Femme Metal on the other hand favoured the opening track Reason To Live with "it's rock solid rumbling guitar riff" and it's "great, catchy melody". However, their highlight of the album is "the heartfelt half ballad..Uninvited". Claiming it is "an awesome song that has the capability of being a hugely successful song". Date: 28 February 2010 Exoterik will be heading into the studio this April to record their brand new single which was previewed live at their February Bradford Rio's gig. Date: 19 January 2010 E-zine Alternative Vision have posted a review of the new Exoterik album Butterfly In Your Hand this month. They gave the album a whopping 5/5, describing it as "upbeat with powerful fast flowing catchy vocals to pull you in and chunky guitar riffs to add that extra bit of meaty power to the mix, the songs are full of groove and with the mix of catchy vocals and chunky instrumental work being very pleasing on the ear". Date: 11 December 2009 The University of the West of Scotland's student radio 'UCA Radio' have been helping to plug the new album Butterfly In Your Hand by selecting it for airplay. They have also reviewed it on their radio show stating that the album has “solid production values, musicianship and a strong vocal performance. If you missed it - fear not - a Podcast of the show is available for the next 6 days from BBC iPlayer (here). The track features approximately 30 minutes into the show (0:30.50 to be precise). Since going live with this site Exoterik have securred a publishing deal with HandE Publishing LTD who are based at Epping Film Studios in Essex. The band have also confirmed that Metal Hammer magazine will be supporting the release of the new album Butterfly In Your Hand.
